The Ikaruga House (斑鳩家 Ikaruga-ke?) is a family of exorcists on Tsuchimikado Island and one of the Houses of the Twelve Guardians whose current head is Shimon Ikaruga.

Etymology[]
- The surname Ikaruga means "turtledove" (斑鳩).
- Turtledove is a small Old World dove with a soft purring call, noted for the apparent affection shown for its mate.
