After Gurusu cut through the glass, he comands the Kegare to attack everyone in the facility. One of the teachers tries to protect the students, but Nejime laughs at the actions of the teacher. Then, Nejime shoots two round sawblades out of his body, killing the teacher and multiple students who were running for their lives. Noticing how one of the students was still alive, he throws a single stake at her. However, before it can reach her, Kankuro Mitosaka intervenes and stops him, though the student still dies form her wounds. Nejime wonder who Kankuro is and then the two proceed to fight.

Nejime says that he also has a strong attack that could defeat someone from a safe distance, but is hit by Kenran Ryuo no Toga and drilled into a wall.
However, as Kankuro goes for a finishing blow, Gurusu tries to chop off his head with his snake-like sword, which Kankuro manages to barely avoid it, saving Nejime in that moment. After Kankuro gets distracted by the sight of his friend Kengo laying defeated on the ground, Nejime warns him that he should not look away while a bunch of spikes rise out of his body impaling the Guardian. Nejime thanks Gurusu for saving him.
The Basara approach Kankuro, who comments and on how they are powerful together. Then, they are surrounded by Kengo's Jin no Kisho: Bakujo Maten Koro trapping the both of them much to their shock. Kankuro then uses his Mystic Gear and says that him and Kengo are also powerful as a duo and hits them with a giant attack.
Nejime and Gurusu manage to hold it off for a bit, but they are easily blown away and smash through the building by the blast. Just when Kankuro and Kengo think they won they are suddenly hit by a bunch of spikes from Nejime, who survived the blast along with Gurusu. He then sarcastically remarks how they must have never faced a true challenge before to let their guards down like that.
The two proceed to attack the weakened duo. Nejime comments on how their team work is good but their power pales in comparison to theirs. In that moment, Nejime and Gurusu feel a dangerous spiritual pressure, and turn around to look at a still impaled Tatara appears before them with his mask fully off.
After Sakanashi activates Hajigokukai Inko Issaimo Kanromon, Nejime wonders if he is trying to kill them too.
Nejime damns Sakanashi and tells Gurusu they must retreat, saying that when they get back to Magano Sakanashi will be put on trial for his actions, but Kankuro cut their retreat saying that they are not allowed to leave alive after what they done. Angry, Nejime prepare to counter attack, despite Gurusu's warnings. Then he is suddenly bitten by Tatara's poisonous snake in his arm. Nejime calls for Gurusu's help as his arm begins to swell up, but he struck him away seemingly afraid. Nejime ends up getting stuck inside one of Kengo's barrier.
